Understanding Mental Wellbeing: A Holistic Wellbeing Approach 💡

All aspects of health are intertwined and strongly connected. Deep Health doesn’t come from a pill or formula.

This is a continuation of the blog on Holistic Well-being.  Holistic well-being entails in thriving in all aspects of human experiences., It's the whole person, whole life phenomenon.

Mental wellbeing isn't just about feeling happy—it's about finding balance and resilience in all aspects of life. Just like physical health, it's intertwined with every facet of our wellbeing, from our relationships to our daily routines.

Taking care of our mental health means recognizing that recovery is just as important as activity. Just as our bodies need rest after a workout, our minds need time to recharge and rejuvenate.

As a deep health coach, I guide my trainees through the journey of mental wellbeing by addressing all elements of deep health: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Together, we explore strategies to manage stress, cultivate mindfulness, and build resilience in the face of life's challenges.

From practicing gratitude to setting boundaries, small changes can have a big impact on mental wellbeing. For example, carving out time for self-care rituals like meditation or journaling can help us stay grounded amidst the chaos of daily life. And having a coach to offer support and accountability can make all the difference in staying on track.

Whats is Mental Wellbeing mean

This inquiry delves into their mental acuity, assessing problem-solving skills, focus, prioritization, and perspective. It also reveals their level of introspection. Do they reflect on their approach or consider alternative strategies?

For instance, if my trainee struggles in this domain, they might exhibit difficulty concentrating at work or frequently overlook important tasks. I look for clues indicating they could benefit from bolstering their mental resilience.

Further Exploration of Mental Wellbeing that links to Holistic Wellbeing:

1. Organization and Mental Clarity: "How do you manage your daily tasks and responsibilities?"

Example: "I use a planner to jot down deadlines and set reminders on my phone for important meetings."

2. Creativity: "Where and when do you find yourself most inspired?"

Example: "I get my best ideas during my morning runs or while doodling in my sketchbook."

3. Action-Oriented Thinking: "What do you believe would help you think more clearly?"

Example: "I think setting aside time for meditation or going for a walk outdoors could help me clear my mind."
