Traditionally, Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup made with a rich-flavored broth, then topped with an assortment of meats, vegetables, and a soft-boiled egg. In Japan, Ramen is dubbed a fast food and it’s made available in tiny restaurants and late night street carts.

Ingredients
Sesame oil - 10 ml
Ginger - 1 inch
Garlic - 3 cloves
Onion - 1
Light soy sauce - 20 ml
Chicken broth - 1 tbsp (If you are making vegetarian, just use boiled rice water)
Coriander - 1 bunch
Sweet chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
Fish sauce - Few drops (Vegetarians can skip this)
White vinegar - 1 tsp
Rice Noodles - Handful
Spring onion - 2-3
Egg - 1
Chicken Breast - 1
Directions
In a milk pan, heat the sesame oil and add the chopped ginger and garlic to it
Finely slice an onion and add it to the pan
Pour in a liter of water and bring it to the boil
Next, put in the soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, salt, pepper, fish sauce, vinegar and the chicken broth powder
Cover it and let it simmer for about 30 mins
Strain the liquid and bring it back to a boil
Grill chicken breast with salt and pepper on an iron skillet until golden brown. Slice it into pieces. (Vegetarians can grill vegetables of their choice, mushrooms, carrots are good)
For plating up, in a bowl make a bed of boiled noodles
Pour the hot broth and the chicken and vegetables
Garnish with, coriander leaves, spring onion stalks and a egg (boiled or half fried) and squeeze in half a lime.
